The city has a program where residents in historic neighborhoods can apply for funds to help pay for exterior rehab - things like replacing windows, fixing roofs, replacing damaged wall materials, etc. The city will match costs up to $10K. Part of the application process involves submitting a series of photos showing what the money is going to be spent on.

So, the other day I was going through some of the files still in progress (the end of the fiscal year is later this month and I was checking in with the few people who had not yet completed the work). One of the files had a picture showing the applicant's house, complete with one of their dogs in mid-squat. My immediate thought was "You couldn't wait 30 seconds for your dog to finish?" I mean, you're going to submit this to people who you're asking to give you money!RogueHistorianhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11573695051575323278noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24675950.post-19931351756549362332007-06-17T10:07:00.000-04:002007-06-17T10:07:00.000-04:00Ok, this post requires further explanation...Ok, this post requires further explanation...Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
