Last night as I was working a little late, doing some reading, and I suddenly had one of those "oh holy shit" intellectual moments when I realized that I was completely understanding a fairly intellectually complicated argument someone was making about the relationship between psychology, urban development, history, and class consciousness. Not only was I following their argument, but I was actually seeing where they were going with it about 10 steps prior to their conclusion, and thinking about how I could apply their argument as theoretical basis for some of my own work.
